...I'd have no luck atall...
I am having a rough peak riding season. I have had to have a rear wheel re-built and have gone through tubes like they were free. In addition, I have had some bad luck with my floor pump tearing the head off prista valves. After the installation of new rim tape my luck appears to be changing a bit, however, I am still a bit nervous. If, in my LBS diagnosis for unusual rim side punctures, I hear on more time "...well Scott, you are a large guy..." I am going to go ballastic. Enough of that rant.
I am think of acquiring one of those universal "smart heads" for my floor pump, as I have heard they are less "grabby" of the presta head. Are there any opinions or advice that anyone is willing to share?
